The El Dorado Promise is just one example. Murphy Oil Corporation established and funded this unique scholarship program in 2007. The El Dorado Promise gives graduates of El Dorado High School a scholarship that can be used at any accredited two- or four-year, public or private educational institution in the U.S.
The scholarship covers tuition and mandatory fees, with the maximum amount payable capped at the highest annual resident tuition at an Arkansas public university.
