Murphy USA opens first store in New Mexico -

GRAND OPENING in Las Cruces! Customer service and low prices were the main attractions at the record breaking Las Cruces Murphy Express Grand Opening on the grand opening celebration weekend of January 29th, 2009.
During
the daylight portion of the Grand Opening, there were three radio stations doing 11
total hours of on-site remotes, huge amounts of giveaways, cotton candy, popcorn
and juggling. The Murphy House Band rocked the crowd with two more sets
throughout the afternoon. All the while, customers filled their tanks and remarked on the great prices now offered to the citizens of this New Mexico town.
It proved to be a landmark event, with the breaking of the Grand Opening Gallons Record (just short of 50k). The key to the lasting success of the Las Cruces store will definitely be the repeat customers won over by amazing prices and superb customer service.
