Murphy USA understands the personal side of business for both our customers and our employees, and we’re willing to do whatever it takes to show how much we appreciate your support - even if it means sometimes going that extra mile... literally.
“A Fun Way to Go Out and Say Hey”
The next time you’re filling up at your local Murphy USA station, and you see a giant “smiling” bus coming your way - horn blaring and bubbles spilling from the roof - don’t be alarmed. It’s just the Murphy USA customer Service Tour Bus, and it’s about to give the saying “service with a smile” a whole new meaning.
Filled with a rotating team of Murphy USA and Murphy Oil Corp. employees, the bus travels from Murphy station to Murphy station armed with everything from free soft drinks to balloons for the kids.
Watch the 2008 Customer Service Tour Video to catch the bus in action. You’ll see smiling Murphy employees wearing funny hats and carrying wads of balloons. You’ll witness bubbles blowing out the top of the bus and a window decal warning “no grumpy people allowed!” And, you’ll find lots of free soft drinks, balloons and happy customers.
It’s admittedly not your everyday way for a business to say ‘thanks” to its customers, but then again, Murphy USA isn’t your everyday fuel company.
